Hinds County Human Resource Agency is hiring Family Opportunities Advisors in Jackson!As the only Community Action Agency in Hinds County, Mississippi, Hinds County Human Resource Agency (HCHRA) has strived to lift its citizens out of poverty conditions through an assortment of services since 1976.
The Family Opportunities Advisor will advocate and work primarily with unable-to-work families from every station of life, and sometimes dire economic backdrops, to ease them through transitions, hardships, and mentally tough times.
Assisting families in finding the proper opportunities to obtain the resources or supplements needed for stabilization.
Serve as a liaison between families and the family's needs.
Interviewing, counseling, referrals, developing and maintaining case files and case management, and providing services to eligible applicants.
Qualifications Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university Works well in a fast-paced environment and maintains confidentiality and objectivity.
Demonstrates a high level of organization, planning, reporting skills, persistence, proactivity, listening, verbal communication, and building client relationships.
