Hinds County Human Resource Agency is hiring SECURITY GUARDS for our Head Start Centers in Jackson!As the only Community Action Agency in Hinds County, Mississippi, Hinds County Human Resource Agency (HCHRA) has strived to lift its citizens out of poverty conditions through an assortment of services since 1976.
The Security Guard is responsible for maintaining a secure facility free of unwanted intrusions, which may endanger the lives of the staff, children, volunteers and other authorized personnel.
Incumbents in this position will patrol and inspect property to protect against fire, theft, vandalism, and illegal activity.
Maintains order and forbids entrance to unauthorized individuals.
Patrols Agency property to detect, and prevent criminal and unauthorized activities.
Regularly monitors playground and parking lot.
Monitors traffic flow to and from Agency parking areas in order to prevent unauthorized entry to reduce traffic accidents.
Opens and closes building for daily activities, evening meetings and other.
Assists with the monitoring of children loading and unloading buses.
Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Equivalent 2
